About Keartiman School
Keartiman Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, managed by the Keartiman Trust, was founded in June 1999 by Sri T. Raghavan, a renowned philanthropist, industrialist, and former senior officer of the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Established with a vision of providing quality English-medium education to children in the rural area of Kanuvai, Coimbatore, the institution has grown from a modest beginning of 143 students to over 2,400 students today, spanning Kindergarten to Standard XII.
The school is recognized by the Board of Matriculation Schools under the Education Department of Tamil Nadu and prepares students for the X and XII Board examinations. English is the medium of instruction, with Tamil and French offered as second languages and Hindi as an optional language.
With over two decades of excellence, the school has earned a strong reputation as one of the leading educational institutions in Tamil Nadu. It is distinguished not only by its academic achievements but also by its dedication to nurturing responsible and capable global citizens.

Keartiman Matriculation and Higher Secondary School is the brain child, Sri.T.Raghavan a philanthropist and industrialist, he was formerly a senior officer of the Central Bureau of Investigation. His dream was to establish an English medium school and impart quality education to the children of Kanuvai, a rural area in Coimbatore in the 90’s.
The dream came into being in June, 1999 with 143 Students. The strength has grown manifold since then to about 2400 students from Kindergarten to Std. XII. The unique feature of our school is that it fulfills the vision of its Founding father to provide affordable yet quality education. Apart from the management, our dedicated team of experienced and well qualified teachers ensure in materializing the dream.

It gives me great pleasure to address all of you through this website. As we cross the golden Jubilee and march steadily towards the 26th year, I can’t but help peeking into the past. Way back in 1999, the school came into being with a small strength of 143 students. We have taken several giant leaps from that time and I am delighted to inform you that our students strength has progressed to 2400+.The intention and endeavour of the school is to give excellent education at a very affordable cost. I feel proud to express that the school is performing well in all the aspects to produce excellence and fulfill the objective of the new generation.
Education plays a vital role to develop consistency among students. Education is mandatory to fulfill the target of personal and social responsibilities. Good lifestyle practices may be imbibed through a value based educational system. We can’t change the direction of the wind but we can adjust our sails to reach a suitable destination. All successful people have achieved heights through continuous persistence in their day today schedule. Everyone must set an inner drive of inspiration to complete their race to keep the keynote “I am born to fly! I am born to achieve”. We provide our students with ample opportunities to develop their overall personality.
