Innovation in Teaching Methods

In order to keep pace with the changing trends in teaching methodology, we have installed interactive digital panel boards rendering the classrooms free from chalk pollution. This facility is extended to all classrooms. We are extensively using the internet in exposing our students to current events and news world over. Students are greatly benefited because of our above initiatives.

Academic year and Time Schedule

The academic year is from June to April divided into three terms. School timings commence at 9.15 a.m and end at 3.45 p.m. The school functions for five days in a week. Special classes will be conducted for Std IX – XII during Saturdays.

In Plus one (STD XI) we offer the following groups

PART I: TAMIL / FRENCH

PART II: ENGLISH

Group- 1 : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, & Biology

Group – II   : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science 

Group – III   : Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, & Computer Application

Group – IV : Commerce, Accountancy, Economics & Business Maths

Note: During Games period all the students are supposed to wear canvas shoes.

Parents - Teachers Meet

Parents can meet the Class Teachers and Subject Teachers on every Thursday between 3.45 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. and discuss about their child’s progress and performance.

Leave rules

Leave is not a privilege; it is a facility. Students are advised not to take leave for flimsy reasons. Appreciation certificate is given for 100% attendance. Students can get prior permission for taking leave. If a student is sick, parents are required to submit the leave letter before 2.30 p.m. on the same day.

Office Timing

The School Office works from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m and 2.00 p.m. to 5.0 p.m. including Saturdays. (Except Second Saturdays.)

Examination

Periodic assessment will be made through Test and Examinations. The School provides answer papers. Progress cards are issued after every examination. After the First and Second Terminal Examinations all the parents will be called for Parents – Teachers Meet to get the report cards.

Std : VI – XI    – Three Mid – Term Test.

Std : LKG – V – Four Monthly Test.

Std : LKG – IX  – Three Terminal Examinations.

Std : X – XII    – Two Terminal Examinations and three Revision examinations / Board Exam March-2026
